Experien General Insurance Services arranges Professional Indemnity Insurance for Australian Dentists as an Agent of a large Australian Insurer (Insurance Australia Limited, trading as CGU Insurance).
An optional additional cover that can be purchased for Civil complaints (current as at August 2024) is for Dentists that perform cosmetic and therapeutic treatments in dento-facial aesthetics such as facial dermal filler and botulinum toxin treatments. Coverage is able to be provided that is not based on any specific course undertaken for training on these treatments.
Dentists are reminded to review and adhere to Dental Board Of Australia Guidelines on this at all times.
